April celebration event.

Hesley Wood Camp site White Lane, Chapeltown, Sheffield, United Kingdom

23rd April is St Georges day and this year we decided to celebrate it in a slightly different way to our normal parade.  This year Rotherham District invited us to participate in a celebration weekend,  19th to the 21st April, which is outlined below

The following activities are planned and suitable for Explorers and Network members

Friday night: Camp fire and wide game

Saturday day time: onsite activities such as archery, shooting and others.

Saturday evening:  disco or movie night

Sunday: Mini challenges until the closing ceremony at 12:30

The cost of this event is £40 per youth member.

It is now unclear whether this will go ahead as a District camp, but even so, it will go ahead as a RESU event.  We may just need to relook at some of the paid activities depending on how many Explorers and Network members book on.

Bookings for this event will close 11th March. (This will be extended if it is going ahead as a RESU only event)
