We are holding our annual Residential Camp at Hag Dyke Scout Hostel (www.hagdyke.com), on the Weekend of 1st to 3rd March 2019.
Hag Dyke, in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales is a Scout Hostel administered by the 1st Ben Rhydding Scout Group in Ilkley. The Hostel was bequeathed to the group in 1947 and has been run by a group of volunteer wardens for the benefit of Scouts and other Youth Groups ever since.
Hag Dyke Scout Hostel is situated half way up Great Whernside and can only be reached on foot. The hostel has open coal fires and the highest chapel in England
Our preferred method of booking is via this website as it makes it easier for us to track especially when we have limited spaces available. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any issues with the website. If you do book online there is no further paperwork to complete but please log on to online scout manager (www.onlinescoutmanager.co.uk) and check that your child’s details are correct. Please note that if you wish to pay in installments the deposit is £35 with a balance of £20 due 22nd Feb.

We are holding a Bronze Dofe/Platinum CSA Training weekend 16th-17th March 2019
The total cost of the camp is £30 for the weekend, our preferred method of payment is online through our website alternatively please post to me direct.
It is a prerequisite that every Explorer takes part in at least one training expedition before they are allowed on an assessed trip and we, as Supervisors have to be satisfied with your ability to complete the trip.
Each person will need to provide their own food – you may wish to pair up with this but you will need:
Saturday lunch and evening meal plus snacks
Sunday breakfast plus lunch plus snacks
Tea coffee chocolate
We will supply you with tents, maps, stoves and pans, if you have any problems with getting the correct kit then let us know and we will see what we can do.

Meet at Langsett Car Park GR2100005 ready for a 10am start. Returning at 3pm to same location.
You will need your walking gear, packed lunch and a drink. There is a café and the end so please take some money if you wish to purchase anything from the café when we finish.
Please arrange your own transport to and from the event.
