The 2020 event takes place over the weekend of 10th to 12th July 2020– if you would like to know about this event either visit the website (http://www.gilwell24.info/) or have a chat with someone who has previously gone. Basically, its 24 hours of Explorer activities, at Gilwell Park, the home of scouting, in London (Essex), starting at 9am on Saturday and running through to 9am on the Sunday morning. In 2017 there were around 5,000 Explorers at the event.
The cost of the event this year will be same as last year £95, and like last year Explorers can use credits to subsidised the cost. To secure a place on the event we are asking for a £45 deposit to be paid by the end of November alternatively this can be paid in two instalments, £25 by the end of November and the remaining £20 by the end of January. The balance is due by the end of May.
